Steps to bootstrap a new repository

In the context of those steps, “standard” is either the parent repository or the “gold standard”.

[ ] Update Sync with GitHub. Have it up to date.
[ ] Set the default branch to master. Make sure it exists.
[ ] Settings pages to sync with “standard”

  - “Require actions to be pinned to a full-length commit SHA”: Yes
[ ] If the repository is private, create a budget for GitHub actions in https://github.com/organizations/mui/settings/billing/budgets
[ ] Assign a repository security policy. Go to https://github.com/organizations/mui/settings/security_products.
- [ ] If the repository is active. Set a “Dependabot rules” to ignore small issues.
[ ] Go to GH renovate app settings: https://github.com/organizations/mui/settings/installations/17915985
- [ ] Add the repository under “Repository access”
