Coworkers say my superpower is copywriting. My background before getting into web development included many years as a freelance writer and editor, so I learned the art of content marketing across several different industries before bringing those skills to the world of open-source software.
I am a lifelong learner, and I absolutely love the process of learning new things so I can teach them to others. There’s an aphorism that says you don’t truly understand something until you can explain it to someone else. When framed that way, it’s incredible to me that I can potentially help hundreds or thousands of developers through my work with MUI just by continuously refining and expanding my own expertise. It’s a win-win-win (the users, the company, and me) situation!
When I’m not working, I’m usually making music, reading and writing, traveling, and exploring nature with my dog.
