MUI Impact Awards (MIAs)

The MUI Impact Awards spotlight the exceptional contributions and dedication of MUIers who are pushing us forward every day.

Categories

• Most valuable contributor. This award is given in recognition of IC’s significant contributions and dedication. You may wish to consider their direct impact on company goals, their willingness to go the extra mile / discretionary effort, and more.
• Most valuable leader. This award is given in recognition of exceptional leadership and/or management. You may wish to consider individuals who have led significant positive changes at a company level and who are regularly relied upon for guidance, inspiration, driving accountability, and more.
• Culture champion of the year. This award is given in recognition of individuals living, modeling, and strengthening company values. You may wish to consider how they demonstrate core values and behaviors in action daily; how they inspire or call attention to our values; and how else they contribute to our thriving work culture.
• Unsung heroes. A wildcard category, if there was someone you felt strongly deserved to be recognized but wasn't.

How are awards attributed?

• Impact awards are awarded yearly, at the end of the year.
• Any teammate, regardless of tenure, is eligible for it.
• All teammates can submit nominations. Nominations can only be submitted once.
• Award attribution among nominations will be considered based on, but not limited to, the criteria below:
  • Quality and impact of nominee’s work: significance of results achieved, originality and innovation of their work, degree to which it advances our company's mission.
  • Nominee’s contribution to the organization: involvement in cross-functional teams or initiatives, ability to build relationships and foster collaboration within and outside of the organization.
  • Overall performance: nominee’s ability to consistently exceed expectations for their roles and take on new responsibilities and challenges.
  • The number of submissions for the same person will be considered.
  • Team member is in good standing with the company (e.g., not on a PIP).
• How are teammates selected? @Matthew Brookes and @Olivier Tassinari reviews all nominations and selects award winners among the nominations (and only).
• Each award winner will receive a unique gift to celebrate their accomplishments.

How to nominate a teammate?

• To nominate a peer, please submit the form shared with you. It should take approximately 5-10 minutes to fill out.
• Nomination period opens and remains open for about ~2-3 weeks.
• Award winners are announced during the next monthly meeting.
