The mission is a subset of Chief of Staff.

Responsibilities

• Support executives
• Make recommendations for executives about their time management, prioritization, delegation, and organization
• Maintain an efficient flow of information
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
• Total travel coordination

Key performance indicator

• The amount of time saved for the executive.
• The accuracy in administrative support items - % of follow-up for items requiring adjustment.

Career

An Executive Assistant career path can take various routes depending on the long-term career goals and aspirations.

One path that is routinely taken is someone passionate about being in the role for the long-term, resulting in becoming a more senior EA at MUI to a member of the executive group.

Another open path is one where they decide to leverage their experience to transition into a new role, such as (but not limited to) a Project Manager, Recruiter, Business Analyst, Executive Communications, Press Relations, Internal Communications, People Connect Specialist, Chief of Staff, etc.
