How we approach global mobility & relocation
At MUI, we value freedom
and have intentionally structured our company to be able to hire people from all over the world. We believe incredible talent is everywhere — and remote work helps us to not only access but engage and equalize opportunity for people who have faced barriers to entry or marginalization in the world of work.
We aim to support relocation as much as possible for personal reasons and business reasons alike. This means, that we aim to support freedom of movement to the extent that it is sustainable for our business to do so.

Eligibility to relocation without MUI support
People are eligible for relocation without MUI support subject to the following conditions.
New hires and Existing employees:
- The relocation must be compatible with the location needs of their current role. Certain positions such as support and sale, maybe location-sensitive due to customer proximity or other factors. Other positions may be cost-sensitive due to their business economics and not compatible with high location factors;
- They should be employed under the Contractor model.
Existing employees:
- The employee must not be currently under a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP);
Eligibility to relocation
To be eligible for relocation the following baseline conditions must be met:
- The relocation must be compatible with the location needs of their current role. Certain positions such as support and sale, maybe location-sensitive due to customer proximity or other factors. Other positions may be cost-sensitive due to their business economics and not compatible with high location factors;
- The employee must not be currently under a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP);
But also, depending on the level of support requested or required:
Without MUI support
- The employment type must be Contractor.
