What's it?

A Hackathon is a group of people working together to solve a particular problem in a fixed period of time.

Why?

A Hackathon gives the opportunity to:

tackle problems outside the usual day-to-day tasks
form new teams, work with different people
removes all pressure from delivering, we are experimenting, and failing is the default expectation
