Summary

MUI gives people the freedom to choose the employment path that best fits their goals and life circumstances at the time of offer. Each carries different constraints and entitlements. We understand circumstances change and there may be a time you wish to change employment types with us.

<aside> <img src="/icons/error_blue.svg" alt="/icons/error_blue.svg" width="40px" /> Requests can only be made once after a period of 1 year's service to MUI and that all other requests may be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Changes aren't guaranteed just because the conditions are met and MUI may choose to reject any request for a change in employment type without limitation.

Eligibility

People are eligible to request a change of employment type subject to the following conditions.

New hires:

• The contract must not have commenced yet.
• Note: requests to change may alter effective start dates.

Existing employees:

• The employee must not be currently under a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP);
• The employee must have completed at least 1 year’s service/tenure with MUI.
