How we approach sick leave

That’s why: our policy is to cover our employees with 100% paid sick leave starting from their first day. When compatible with the local labor laws, we approve a maximum of 8 weeks, paid at 100%, of paid sick leave annually. We approve long-term sick leaves on a case-by-case basis and may request doctors’ notes to ensure we’re being responsible and managing our duty of care as an employer.

How to return to work

  1. Let your manager know the day you’ve returned to work by sharing a completed BTW Doc with them via Slack message.
  2. This acts as a trigger for your manager to complete their portion of the BTW Doc.
