The goal is to have 50-minute discussions around topics that benefit from in-person dialogue, require more context, and where the Steering Group is likely to disagree. The agenda should include discussions that are:

1. Top of mind
2. Actionable
3. Impactful to the trajectory of the company
4. Cross-functional

The Steering Group retreat runs every 6 months:

Where

On-site, close to everyone else.

Time

1. First day (Monday): Half-day meetings. It starts around 1 pm.
2. Second day (Tuesday): 6-7 hours of meetings starting with breakfast at 9 am. Includes some unstructured time with the team and team activities.
3. Third day (Wednesday): 6-7 hours of meetings starting with breakfast at 9 am. Includes some unstructured time with the team.
4. Fourth day (Thursday): No scheduled meeting. Time reserved for ad hoc meetings and time.
