MUI thrives on a culture of continuous learning and development. Learning faster than other companies makes us more likely to outperform to win.
How do we live it?
MUI has built-in opportunities to learn and advance skills, including:
- **20% Time.** MUIers are encouraged to allocate 20% of their time towards personal development that improves their job performance. It’s basically like having a 4-day work week + 1 day focused on gaining future leverage on the 4 days focused on work. (At least, this is how some MUIers choose to structure it.)
- Enablement fund. MUIers receive a budget each year to invest in learning and wellness resources that drive their best performance.
- Training assets. A crowdsourced list of learning resources and topics from the whole MUI Team. Share online courses, books, conferences, webinars, etc. that boost your skills & knowledge.
- Peer mentoring program. MUI operates a peer mentoring program where individuals can be matched based on development interests and strengths. There is a whole library of potential mentoring activities and flexibility to personalize your mentoring arrangement.
