Responsibilities

• Documentation
  • Writing, maintaining, and copy-editing documentation
• Content
  • Partner with Head of Docs and Developer Advocate to produce educational content such as references, guides, blogs, tutorials, and changelogs

Key performance indicator

• Documentation feedback
  • Increasing positive feedback/comments
  • Decreasing negative feedback/comments
  • Consistency in positive documentation feedback in yearly survey
• Traffic and engagement
  • Page-views, session times
• Support
  • Decrease in GitHub issues related to poor or unclear documentation

Why this role exists

We don’t have “Content Writer” role at MUI, mostly because most of what we do is technical, the “Technical Writer” role is the closest to it.
